• Avoid caffeinated beverages before your appointment as this can cause your eyes to flutter.
• Refrain from applying makeup for 24 hours prior to your appointment. 
• Remove contact lenses for the appointment. 
• Do not wet your face for 24 hours after the appointment.
• Avoid oil based cleansers as this breaks down the pigment.
